In this video I show you how to boot directly to the desktop in Windows 8.1. In order to bypass the Start Screen right click on the bottom bar on your desktop and select properties. Then click on the tab that says navigation and select the first check box under where it says start screen. Now every time you restart your computer it will boot directly to the desktop. You won’t have to worry about that annoying Start Screen in Windows 8.1.
