I recently purchased a miniature drone called the Cheerson CX-10. I had a lot of fun flying the miniature drone. However, I also had a lot of trouble learning how to control the drone. The controller is shaped like a game controller and it has two joysticks. It also has buttons to control the trim. The CX-10 has three speeds and if the user clicks the left joystick they can change the speed. The drone is very zippy and it moves very fast, making it difficult to control. I crashed the drone just about every time I flew it. This eventually shifted the weight making it not flyable.
I would rate this miniature drone a 3 out of 5. It lasted less then two weeks and it was almost impossible to control outside. However it did fly well when close to a surface, for example a desk. I also enjoyed flying it around my dog. He went crazy and tried to attack it. The battery lasted about 10 minutes on the CX-10. This is pretty good for a miniature drone. Overall it was pretty cool to learn how to fly a drone and I enjoyed my experience with the Cheerson CX-10 Quadcopter.
