Oculus Go the first truly affordable Standalone VR Headset

Last week Facebook released the Oculus Go. It is the first truly affordable VR headset that doesn’t require a smartphone. There are two models, a 199 dollar version with 32GB and a 249 dollar version with 64GB. The headset has spatial audio drivers built right into it. I think this is really cool and immersive. The headset also comes with a controller and an eyeglass spacer. As for software the Oculus go already has over 1,000 apps and games. I can’t wait to try it out.

The Oculus Rift Price and Release Date

Yesterday the Oculus Rift price and release date was revealed. It is coming out on March 28 and it will cost 600 dollars. However, you will need a very powerful PC to run the Oculus Rift. The box comes with a headset, a sensor, an Oculus remote and an Xbox controller. I think that the Oculus Rift is a bit overpriced considering that you need an expensive PC to use it.
